- Apr 02 - Dust
Just one hour left today to make my daily photo with my not even a month old camera. (Left part). Of course I could go to a Canon service center but it’s 11.00 PM and there’s none in the neighbourhood. Luckily I had a fully loaded spare battery, cleaning stuff and a lot of exercise with my old camera to make the right part. Not sure if the spot is on the sensor or on the tulip, but the stripe definitely was on the sensor. - Apr 07 - Chips
A late evening photo. - Apr 08 - Magnolia
Picked one from my garden. - Apr 11 - Lilioceris lilii
A beetle in my garden on a warm day in the spring. Think this is a “leliehaantje” (Dutch) or “lily leaf beetle” (English), but please correct me if it’s otherwise. Not sure if I have any lilies, but he/she looked happy. - Apr 12 - Coccinellidae
Another (more well known) beetle in my garden on a raspberry leaf. I found so many names of this species that I used the Latin name. We call it a “lieveheersbeestje”. - Apr 17 - Tulip
No tulip yet this month, so here it is. I know, the glass should be cleaner, but it’s almost midnight (again). - Apr 20 - White flower
A flower from my garden. Not sure about the species yet, but I hope to find out soon. - Apr 21 - Ant
After a busy day at work I took some photos in my garden. Trying to capture a small flower (some weed) I discovered an ant on it. - Apr 23 - Blue weed
Some weed I picked from my garden. It was late and dark. Never too old to learn So this is a “forget-me-not”, or “vergeet-me-nietje” (in Dutch). I knew such a flower existed, but I didn’t know I had it in my garden. - Apr 24 - Detail of a tulip
- Apr 25 - Almost a flower
Pruned (a part of) my hedge today, so not much time and energy for photography. Here’s a detail which is not pruned. Not sure, but my guess is this is the starting blossom of a blackthorn.
